MedSci provides publishing services for peer-reviewed, online and print-plus-online journals in medicine. MedSci operates the Open access model of publishing services, providing unrestricted online access to peer-reviewed scholarly research. Abstracts and full texts (PDF and HTML format) of all articles published by MedSci are freely accessible to everyone immediately upon publication. MedSci provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. The contents of MedSci are open to access in line with the policy of Budapest Open Access Initiative for developing, supporting and extending the science. Authors retain copyright of their work and can deposit their publication in any repository. This means that articles can be freely redistributed and reused by the author and others as long as the article is properly cited. If the purpose is scientific citations, other than commercial purposes, the contents of MedSci can be used by the license of the
